What is Live Wedding Painting?expand_more

Live wedding painting is when an artist paints a scene from your wedding in real time during the event. It serves as both entertainment for your guests and a one-of-a-kind keepsake for you to treasure forever.

Do you have a travel fee? Do you travel outside of Florida?expand_more

Travel outside a 50-mile radius from 406 E State Rd 60 is charged at $0.60/mile round trip. For events 3+ hours away, lodging is required (covered by the client). I am happy to travel outside of Florida!

What is your pricing and payment structure?expand_more

Basic Package: $850 (16x20"), Advanced Package: $1,000 (20x24"), Premium Package: $1,150. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to book your date. The remaining balance is due 1 week before the event.

What space and setup do you need?expand_more

I need a dedicated 5x5 ft space with access to an electrical outlet for lighting. I bring my own easel, supplies, and setup.

What moment/scene will you paint?expand_more

Popular choices include the first kiss, vows, walking down the aisle, or the first dance. We'll discuss your preferred moment during our consultation!

Can you add in specific people or pets?expand_more

Yes! This is a feature of the Premium Package. Up to 6 additional people or pets can be added to the painting using reference photos.

Can guests interact with you while you paint?expand_more

Yes! Guests are absolutely welcome to watch, ask questions, and enjoy the process. It's part of the entertainment!

What medium do you use?expand_more

I use professional-grade acrylic paints on canvas for all live wedding paintings.

Is the painting finished by the end of the event?expand_more

It depends on the package. The Basic Package is completed on-site. Advanced and Premium Packages include additional in-studio time for refinement and touch-ups.

How long until we receive the final piece?expand_more

For Advanced and Premium Packages, please allow approximately 1 month for the painting to be finalized, dried, and varnished.

Do you do watercolor portraits?expand_more

Not at the moment for live events, but I do offer hand-painted watercolor bridal bouquets! Check out the Services page for details.

Do you do a "big reveal"?expand_more

That's entirely up to you! Some couples love a dramatic unveiling, while others prefer to display the painting as it progresses throughout the event.

Can my guests add to the painting?expand_more

Of course! If you'd like, guests can add brushstrokes or sign the painting as a fun, interactive keepsake.

Can I book you as a surprise?expand_more

Yes! I'm happy to coordinate through the person booking as a surprise for the couple. All communication can go through the booker.

Can you paint my wedding even if it has already happened?expand_more

Yes! I can create a painting from your wedding photos as a Custom Commission. Check out the Custom Commissions section on the Services page.

Lessons are available online via Google Meet or in-person at your home, a local library, or another convenient location.

Yes! I welcome all skill levels, from complete beginners to more experienced artists looking to refine their technique.

Each session is 1 hour. Longer sessions are available upon request.

Do you teach special needs students?expand_more

Yes! I have a background in special education and am experienced in adapting lessons for students with diverse needs.

Are you a Step-Up For Students Provider?expand_more

Yes! I am a direct Step Up For Students provider.

Are supplies included in the cost?expand_more

For in-person lessons, yes! All supplies are included. For online lessons, students will need to provide their own materials (I'll send a supply list ahead of time).

What is the cancellation policy?expand_more

24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

What mediums can I learn?expand_more

Pencils, oil pastels, acrylic paint, and watercolor. Lessons are tailored to the student's interests.

What age groups do you teach?expand_more

Age 6 and up. Adults are welcome too!

Can you teach multiple people at once?expand_more

Yes! The base rate is $65 for one student, plus $32.50 for each additional person.

Meet
Jyllian

Jyllian McAnulty grew up with a love for the creative process. She began her unique art journey through a writing program her 2nd grade teacher placed her in. This writing program was a pathway to discovering her love for illustrating the stories she would write. From illustrating with pencils to drawing whatever captured her interest, she went on to discover paints around the age of 12 when her dad would suggest she "add some color". Ever since then, Jyllian has grown a love for the arts through the support and encouragement of her community. Art has now grown to become a deep part of who she is.

She began teaching small art classes in the summer of 2021 to combine her love for creativity with her love for teaching. Through the years, she has gone on to paint a children's mural for Generación de Fuego Church in 2022 and another at Nuevo Comienzo de Cebadilla Church in 2023, both located in Costa Rica. She has also painted live on stage at many events through her church and other local churches for events like Easter, Christmas, and evening services. Jyllian has also obtained "Business Leader's Choice" award and 2nd Place overall for her age division at the 2022 Florida Strawberry Festival Art Show, and received the "Creativity Award" from ARISE Church in 2022. Jyllian graduated from high school with her Associate in Arts with honors.

With a passion for capturing life's most beautiful colors, textures, and subjects, she brings a colorful and impressionistic touch to her paintings that are centered around one thing: expression. Art, to Jyllian, is meant to make one feel something; whether it is to reflect, laugh, cry, inspire, etc. But there are no rules when it comes to creativity, other than to be creative! Whether painting live at a wedding, teaching aspiring artists, painting murals, or creating a commissioned painting, each tells a deeply personal story, delivered from the artist to the viewer. The goal of each one of Jyllian's services is to take your vision and communicate your story in a unique and timeless way. Let's create together!

Where it all began ✦

Some things never change.

Art has been a part of Jyllian's life since childhood. What started as coloring and illustrating stories has grown into a lifelong passion for creating and teaching.

Beyond the Paintbrush

Jyllian has an incredibly smart, handsome, and kind husband whom she met in middle school. Together, they have a cat named Pickles.

Jyllian grew up often times being outside. She did a lot of camping with her family or going on hikes. She'll never turn down the opportunity to be outside. Jyllian also loves to strength train, cook, and get to know people and their unique story. She appreciates a good coffee and a deep conversation on a rainy day. Most would describe her as an old soul.

At her core, Jyllian is someone who deeply loves God, has experienced the freedom that He brings, and tries her very best to follow Him each day wherever He may lead. She hopes to love people, including you, through her gifts and passions so they too will know the freedom that she does through Jesus Christ. He is the reason for everything she does.
